Installation paths on yam4d
Android APK download and install
Our Android app is distributed as an APK file (not through Google Play) because we maintain direct control over updates and security patches. Visit yam4d.id from your Android device, navigate to the app section, and tap "Download APK." Your device may prompt you to enable installation from unknown sources — this is a standard Android security setting. Once enabled, the APK installs like any other app. We sign all APK files with our certificate; verify the signature matches our official key before installing.
Steps to install on Android
- Download the APK from yam4d.id app section.
- Go to Settings → Security → enable "Unknown Sources."
- Open your Downloads folder and tap the yam4d APK file.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Launch the app, sign in, or create a new account.
iOS browser and PWA install
We do not distribute a native iOS app through the App Store. Instead, iOS users access yam4d via Safari or another mobile browser by visiting yam4d.id directly. The mobile web interface is fully responsive and works identically to the Android app. For faster access, you can install our progressive web app (PWA) to your home screen: open yam4d.id in Safari, tap the Share button, select "Add to Home Screen," and name the shortcut. The PWA behaves like a native app but runs inside the browser engine, so it updates automatically whenever you open it.
Web browser access (desktop and mobile)
Desktop users on Windows, macOS, and Linux can access yam4d.id directly via Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. No download or installation is required. The responsive design adapts to any screen size. On mobile, the browser version works equally well as the native Android app — the main difference is that browser sessions do not cache data locally, so performance may vary on slow networks. For Liga 1, Piala AFF, Champions League, and other live markets, the browser and app deliver the same odds and coverage.
App vs. browser: what to expect
Our native Android app stores recent odds, market lists, live-dealer session IDs, and player settings in local cache. This means opening the app on weak networks (2G, congested WiFi) loads faster than the browser version. The app also sends push notifications for odds changes, live-dealer seat availability, and withdrawal status — the browser cannot. However, the browser version updates in real-time without reinstalling, whereas the app requires a new APK download for major feature updates. Both paths support the full product range: sportsbook (Liga 1, Piala AFF, Champions League, Premier League, MotoGP, badminton), live-dealer tables (blackjack, roulette, baccarat, Dragon Tiger, multi-camera studios), slots (Aviator, Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus, Fortune Tiger, Mahjong Ways), and esports (Mobile Legends, Free Fire, PUBG Mobile).
Device compatibility
Our Android app runs on Android 7.0 (API 24) and above. We test on Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, and Google Pixel devices covering screen sizes from 4.5 to 7 inches. iOS users need iOS 12 or later; we support iPhone 5S through the latest models. Desktop browsers require Chrome 80+, Firefox 75+, Safari 13+, or Edge 79+. If your device is older, the browser version may load more slowly but will still function. Account security (login, KYC verification, payment method linking) works identically across all three paths.
Common installation issues and solutions
Android users may see a warning that the APK is from an unknown source — this is expected because we distribute directly, not through Google Play. Verify that the APK file name matches our official release (e.g., `yam4d-app-v[version].apk`). If installation fails, clear your browser cache and re-download. Some carriers (notably older 3G networks in rural areas) block APK downloads; try switching to WiFi or a different network. On iOS, if the PWA does not appear to update, force-close Safari and reopen yam4d.id. Desktop users experiencing slow load times should disable browser extensions (ad blockers, VPNs) that may interfere with our content delivery.
Data, permissions, and account security
Our app requests permission to send notifications, access your device storage (for cache only, not photos or files), and use your network connection. We do not access your camera, microphone, location, or contacts. All login credentials are encrypted in transit via SSL/TLS and stored encrypted on-device. Payment method data (card numbers, bank account details, e-wallet tokens) never leaves our servers unencrypted. Your account balance, transaction history, and KYC verification status sync across all devices using encrypted API calls tied to your session token. If you log out on one device, all other devices remain logged in until their session expires (typically 30 days of inactivity).
We build yam4d for reliability across unreliable networks — offline cache, progressive loading, and instant sync across Android, iOS, and desktop.
